Xanthoxylum Oil, also known as Sichuan Pepper Oil or Prickly Ash Oil, is an essential oil extracted through steam distillation from the dried berries and seeds of the Zanthoxylum genus plants, primarily Zanthoxylum simulans and Zanthoxylum piperitum. This oil is characterized by its sharp, spicy, citrusy, and slightly woody aroma with tingling, numbing sensory properties.
