Indofil Penetrator is a high-efficiency, water-based penetrating agent developed for use in leather finishing systems. It is specifically designed to promote deeper and more uniform penetration of binders, resins, pigments, and auxiliaries into the leather grain structure. This product improves adhesion, levels coating films, enhances the mechanical strength of finish layers, and contributes to a fine, natural break. Primary Uses 

  1. Leather Finishing
  • Penetration Aid in Season Coats: Enhances the penetration of season coat binders and pigments, resulting in better substrate adhesion and uniformity across the leather surface.
  • Impregnation Process: Facilitates deep, even absorption of impregnation chemicals, improving the body and structure of leather while minimizing surface buildup.
  • Coating Leveler: Helps prevent streaks or unevenness during basecoat application, allowing for smoother finishes and better surface aesthetics.
  • Fine Break Development: Aids in producing a soft, natural break in the leather surface, giving finished leather a more supple, high-quality appearance.

 

Secondary Uses

  • Used to promote adhesion and improve flow characteristics in the initial coat over PU-based synthetic leathers and coated textiles.
